SPINNING IN GINGHAM

I went for the more feminine option for this dress instead of what I mentioned I would naturally do in my last post. Paired it with my trio pochette in powder which hasn't been out much compared to my black one - I like to save it for special occasions, I guess. Skipping up and down this lookout, spinning and pretending to be a bird by the water seemed like that special occasion for it lately.

Preparing to pack my new PJ's from ALAS for next weekends winter getaway! They're my new favourite, taking over another I got a couple of christmas' ago that's a silk cream/misty pink striped set with black piping. You can even see it in action (fast forward to Brussels) here, hands up and all. This one is a completely different feeling - made out of 100% organic cotton, printed with little pastel shapes and defined with bold red borders.

TWIRL

Dressed up the stripes a little with this black dropped-hem skirt that is one of the first of many items I've currently been working on. The feminine shape automatically took over and next minute you know, I'm twirling and giggling like a little school girl. I couldn't help it!
