Room With A View: Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Review
If you want to be welcomed in true traditional Hong Kong luxury style, consider booking a room at Mandarin Oriental. After a boutique stay at a hotel that felt more like a stylish apartment, I had the pleasure of experiencing a few nights in Mandarin Oriental's Harbour Room, which boy-oh-boy had me gasping the moment I stepped foot inside. Why?Because I was welcomed with incredible floor-to-ceiling Hong Kong views.
Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Review
In the elegant Harbour Room at Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong, you'll be spoilt with views over Victoria Harbour towards Kowloon. It was pouring rain when I checked-in, so I decided to ditch my plans and stay cosy with the welcome tea above whilst I (what I told people I was doing) caught up on some editing / (what I was actually doing) pretending to be a secret detective and spying on people walking below with the in-room binoculars provided. Ha. #shittravelbloggersdoThe rooms have a luxuriously homely feel with walnut panelling, sumptuous drapes, a plush bed, and a comprehensive pillow menu - yes that's right, a pillow menu. I also loved that when I was to return after a long day wandering, I would find my room made up with special little gifts left on the bed - like under eye patches, or a mini bottle of lavender mist labelled 'sweet dreams.'It's also here in this room's shiny marble floors that I got styling and shot a few photos one afternoon I was feeling particularly creative.
