Inside The Worlds Only Dessert Themed Hotel - Adelphi Hotel Review

There's a boutique hotel right in the heart of Melbourne that not only caters to the sweet tooth but is just walking distance from public transport, shopping and some of Melbourne's must-see sights. A win-win I would say. When you wander past the Flinders Lane location you immediately spot the candy colours through the window, there's stools, couches and even cushions in the form of delectable sweet treats. As you walk in, past the lobby, there's a restaurant with a range of signature desserts on the menu. It's Adelphi, the world's first and only dessert themed hotel.Read more: Top 10 things to do in Melbourne

The Comfy King room is generous in size and I can report back with good news of comfort, style and clean crisp white sheets (which always get our tick of approval.) A few other features that make TLA happy:

Free wifi

A Happy Lab jar filled with complimentary snacks

Complimentary stocked mini bar fridge

Friendly & helpful staff. They even left a little treat on the bedside table after fixing our room
