PHOTO DIARY: A WEEKEND WITH WATSONS BAY BOUTIQUE HOTEL
Last weekend was a splendid one. The sun was shining, my boyfriend came back to Sydney (from Melbourne) for a week and we got to spend a weekend at Watsons Bay - thanks to Watsons Bay Boutique Hotel - followed by our dear friends wedding. I've always been all for travelling in your own backyard and with beautiful harbour views and beaches, Watsons Bay was the perfect destination for a coastal getaway before heading to the mountains.
Here's a little photo diary from our stay:
Wine & Raybans
The styling throughout the place is just my cup of tea!
Lunch: Seared tuna salad, salt & pepper calamari with lemon aioli and their classic fish n' chips
It was a Friday, yes yes TGIF!
These guys know how to have a whale of a time!
Fresh start to the day - lots and lots of fruit
Beaming sunset from our balcony
It was such a pleasant stay filled with great food, a buzzing ambiance and amazing scenic views of Sydney that I've never - in my whole life of living in this city - even seen before! Hey, there's a first time for everything right?! Speaking of scenic views, I'll be sharing a few things of what to do in Watsons Bay (including a stunning coastal walk) next!
What new discoveries have you made in your own backyard? Leave me a comment below - I'd love to know!
